i really loved my old job.

so much so that when i was getting ready to leave, i was trying to figure out the best way to spend my time. which led me to download the entire first season of veronica mars at work (if you haven't seen it, it's a very engaging way to waste hours at a time). it took an entire week. meanwhile, the boss came in and wondered aloud why the internet connection was so slow. good thing i didn't make the connection until after the fact and by then, i was way beyond the point of feeling badly. then the special v mars-anointed comp got passed around work like the village bicycle until everyone was hooked. it was awesome.
