joel mchale is my white knight.

seriously, it's like he heard my plea and decided to immediately rectify the situation by doubling the amount of time i spend each week watching tv about... tv. (tv^2?)

anyway in just twelve days, the soup will be airing four half-hour specials on monday nights in addition to its regularly scheduled friday programming (YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!). epis will include:

  • "The Soup Presents: Pretty, Stupid Models" - A thorough look back at all the shows featuring – MODELS. From America's Next Top to America's Most Smartest, it's all about models being ridiculous on TV. Plus we'll take a look at the many faces of Janice Dickinson.
  • "The Soup Presents: Info-tainment News O-rama"- A tribute to all the shows that have made celebrity gossip an American phenomenon. We're taking it beyond Britney and highlighting all the absurd coverage brought to us by ET, Access, Extra, etc.
  • "The Soup Presents: Love and Sex On Your TV, Eew" - It's "The Soup's" tribute to love. From bizarre celebrity romance to reality TV relations and Bret Michaels' ongoing search for a girl to "rock his world," this special celebrates the joys of being in love. Still, we can't resist throwing in some "Cheaters" and all the different ways you can break up with someone on "Moment of Truth." {i personally can't wait for this in particular. i seriously cheaters.}
  • "The Soup Presents: The Soup Side Show" - If it's weird and it's human, it's in this special. From the "American Gladiators" to those loveable "American Idol" rejects to the always irresistible E! employees, this best-of-the-worst special is sure to shock.
i knew i had more reason to joel mchale beyond his paul smith shirts and rapier wit.
