let's talk portion control and sodium intake.

m made dinner last night (for the first time since august '07), including everything from menu conception to clean-up. here is his idea of acceptable amount of broccoli for us to consume. in ONE SITTING.

i assure you that is not a miniature chef's knife. and the white moldy stuff is actually just a camera trick. no, really.

here is the delectable rice preparation:

apparently he had salted the water for the rice like you do for pasta (and NOT rice).

i am now eating broccoli for breakfast. i suppose it's a step up from hot pockets though.

no i'm just kidding. nothing beats a warm flaky cheesy hot pocket on a beautiful sunny spring morning.

except maybe bagel bites.
