i should mention that m did experience his first ever real-time "celebrity" sighting in the student center yesterday, as he (read: we) spotted and then egregiously pointed at/stage whispered about greg paulus. we then "ran into" paulus again (it's greg, if you're nasty) at the baseball stadium and i'm almost positive one of us peed ourselves. and i can guarantee that i did not have to change out of my pants once that day.
m is getting better though. once we saw pharrell and his posse at the pf chang's in tyson's galleria, guarded by an impossibly beefy security guard. not only did i have to embarrass the table by whispering excitedly when i spotted him (m has learned from the best), but then i had to calm down enough to explain to m exactly who pharrell was and why exactly i was demanding that he be more psyched about that versus the forthcoming mongolian beef.
needless to say (the most useless phrase EVER, unlike the always applicable fair enough) celeb sightings pretty much lose their luster once that happens.
